总览
ABT-888（二盐酸盐）通过抑制聚ADP核糖聚合酶（PARP）来抑制癌细胞生长。ABT-888对PARP1和PARP2具有高亲和力（IC50 = 5.2 and 2.9 nM），但对sirtuin 2无活性（Donawho et al.）。ABT-888抑制PARP，并阻止其在DNA复制过程中修复DNA断裂，从而导致DNA损伤和细胞凋亡（Javle & Curtin）。
