5E11.3.1抗体与大多数正常人乳腺上皮的腔面细胞表面表达的未知标记物发生反应。在乳腺上皮的基底细胞区域中，该抗体的标记较弱或无标记。对于恶性乳腺上皮，该抗体的标记强度存在差异。该抗体对以下细胞系呈阳性标记：MCF7、CAMA、T47D、BT-10、BT-20、COLO 205和WiD。对人骨髓细胞、血液细胞、淋巴组织和间充质组织、乳腺及骨髓成纤维细胞培养物，以及人胚胎干细胞系H9则不显示标记。
