总览
Ym1是一种~45 kDa的分泌蛋白，由激活的小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞在寄生虫感染引起的炎症反应中合成。Ym1是中性粒细胞中的颗粒蛋白，已从mev/mev和SHIP（含SH2的肌醇5′磷酸酶）敲除小鼠支气管肺泡灌洗液中形成的嗜酸性晶体中被纯化出来。在小鼠中形成的嗜酸性晶体被认为在组织学上与在人体中发现的Charcot-Leyden晶体相同。Ym1与T淋巴细胞来源的嗜酸性粒细胞趋化因子（ECF-L）同源，但在嗜酸性粒细胞中仅引起弱趋化反应。Ym1与肝素、GlcN低聚物和硫酸乙酰肝素结合。Ym1属于几丁质酶相关的蛋白质家族，但不具有几丁质酶活性。
