白介素 10 (IL-10) 是 II 类细胞因子 IL-10 家族的初始成员。所有 IL-10 细胞因子家族成员均具有由 α 螺旋折叠组成的四螺旋束。IL-10 与其受体结合后，通过 JAK1 和 STAT3 激活信号传导。它由树突状细胞、巨噬细胞、CD4+ T 细胞以及肥大细胞、NK 细胞、中性粒细胞和 B 细胞在特定刺激条件下产生 (Saraiva & O'Garra)。IL-10 可以抑制促炎细胞因子的表达并促进愈合过程，并且对调节性 T 细胞的功能至关重要。 IL-10 还能增强 B 细胞增殖、免疫球蛋白分泌和 II 类 MHC 表达，而巨噬细胞产生的 IL-10 则抑制邻近巨噬细胞的活化，从而实现一定程度的自我调节（Ouyang et al.）。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant IL-10 was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of MC/9 cells. Cell proliferation was measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is less than 0.2 ng/mL.
(B) 5 μg of Human Recombinant IL-10 was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Human Recombinant IL-10 has a predicted molecular mass of 18 - 19 kDa.
