白介素15（Interleukin 15，IL-15）是一种具有四螺旋束结构的细胞因子，其功能在多方面与IL-2相似。IL-15的受体是由三种亚基组成的异源三聚体，包括高亲和力的 IL-15Ra 受体亚基，以及 IL-2/15Rb（CD122）和通用γ链（common gamma chain，CD132）。 IL-15 首先与 IL-15Rα 结合，然后可以以“反式呈递（trans-presentation）”的方式传递给其他细胞表面的 IL-2/15Rb 和通用γ链。反式呈递被认为是小鼠中 IL-15 介导免疫反应的主要机制，尽管在人体中这种机制可能不是必需的（Castillo 等人）。 IL-2/15Rb 和通用γ链的胞质结构域可介导信号传导，激活 JAK/STAT 和 PI3K 通路。IL-15 能支持初始 CD4⁺ 和 CD8⁺ T 细胞的存活与增殖，并维持记忆性 T 细胞的稳态。IL-15 还促进NK细胞的存活和分化，并调控其细胞毒活性（Ma 等人）。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant IL-15, ACF was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of CTLL2 cells. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the above example is ≤ 1 ng/mL.

(B) 1 µg of Human Recombinant IL-15, ACF was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Human Recombinant IL-15, ACF has a predicted molecular mass of 12.9 kDa.
