白介素3 （IL-3）是一种物种特异性的多效性细胞因子，可促进多能造血干细胞和各谱系定向祖细胞的存活和增殖，并诱导其向多个成熟细胞谱系分化，包括嗜碱性细胞、中性粒细胞、嗜酸性细胞、巨噬细胞、树突状细胞、红细胞和巨核细胞(Yang et al.; Dorssers et al.; Broughton et al.)。IL-3由活化的T细胞产生，在炎症和过敏反应中发挥生理作用，促进嗜碱性细胞和嗜酸性细胞分泌组胺、IL-4和IL-6等炎症介质（Broughton et al.）。IL-3受体由特异性的 α 亚基（CD123）和通用 β 亚基（βc 或 CD131）组成，后者也参与 IL-5 和 GM-CSF 的受体构成，是这些细胞因子的主要信号转导亚基。IL-3与异源二聚体受体结合可激活JAK/STAT、MAPK和PI3K信号通路（Woodcock et al.）。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant IL-3 (CHO-expressed) was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of TF-1 cells. Cell proliferation was measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is less than 0.1 ng/mL. (B) 2 μg of Human Recombinant IL-3 (CHO-expressed) was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Human Recombinant IL-3 (CHO-expressed) has a predicted molecular mass of 15.1 kDa.
