血管内皮生长因子（VEGF-165）是一种肝素结合型同源二聚体糖蛋白，参与胚胎血管生成和血管生成。VEGF与VEGFR-1 （R1）和VEGFR-2 （R2）结合，激活Raf/MEK/ERK和PI3K/AKT通路（Ferrara等）。它在体外和体内的神经发生中均发挥着重要作用（Storkebaum等）。它对中枢神经系统的神经元具有神经营养作用，并促进多巴胺能神经元和星形胶质细胞的生长和存活。VEGF还促进血管内皮细胞的生长和存活，单核细胞趋化以及粒细胞-巨噬细胞祖细胞的集落形成（Ferrara等）。VEGF-165包含两条多肽链，每条链由165个氨基酸组成。本产品不含动物成分。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant VEGF-165, ACF was tested by the ability to promote the proliferation of HUVECs. Cell proliferation was measured after 88 hours of culture using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is 3.35 ng/mL. (B) Human Recombinant VEGF-165, ACF was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.
