UCHT1抗体识别人T细胞受体(TCR)/CD3复合物的~ 20kda CD3ε亚基,该亚基在~95%的成熟T细胞和NKT细胞表面表达,在胸腺细胞上呈可变表达。大多数T细胞瘤也表达CD3。CD3复合物由CD3γ、δ、ε、η和ζ亚基组合而成,与TCR非共价结合,参与将抗原识别信号转导到T细胞的胞质中,并调节TCR的细胞表面表达。TCR介导的T细胞激活涉及CD3亚基的胞质尾部,CD3 亚基是结构相关的 1 型跨膜蛋白,属于免疫球蛋白超家族。CD3亚基的突变与多种免疫缺陷疾病有关,包括严重的联合免疫缺陷(SCID)。
