白细胞介素6（IL-6）是一种多效生长因子，在免疫调节、造血和肿瘤发生等方面具有广泛的生物活性。IL-6由多种细胞类型产生，包括T细胞、B细胞、单核细胞和巨噬细胞、成纤维细胞、肝细胞、血管内皮细胞和各种肿瘤细胞系。IL-6单独或与IL-2和干扰素-γ等其他因子联合作用时，可刺激B细胞、T细胞和杂交瘤细胞的增殖（Hirano et al.; Mihara et al.; Tanaka et al）。IL-6与IL-3、GM-CSF和SCF等细胞因子联合使用，已被证明能促进体外造血祖细胞的增殖和分化。IL-6通过细胞表面I型细胞因子受体复合物发出信号，该复合物由结合配体的IL-6α (CD126) 和信号转导的gp130亚基组成。IL-6与其受体系统的结合包括激活JAK/STAT信号通路（Mihara et al.; Peters et al.; Tanaka et al.）。本产品不含动物成分。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant IL-6, ACF was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of B9 cells. Cell proliferation was measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is 3.31 pg/mL.
(B) 1 μg of Human Recombinant IL-6, ACF was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Human Recombinant IL-6, ACF has a predicted molecular mass of 21 kDa.
