白介素19 （IL-19）是IL-10细胞因子家族的一员，由角质形成细胞、B细胞和单核细胞产生(Romer等人；Wolk等人)。IL-19可通过粒细胞-巨噬细胞集落刺激因子（GM-CSF）或脂多糖（LPS）诱导表达；Gallagher等人)。IL-19被认为是一种促炎细胞因子，因为它上调IL-6和肿瘤坏死因子α (TNF-α；廖等人，2002)的表达。IL-19结合由IL-20R α和IL-20R β组成的IL-20受体复合物（IL-20R）结合而激活STAT3通路（Dumoutier等人）。IL-19也诱导T辅助细胞向Th2反应分化，从而促进 IL-10 和更多 IL-19 的产生(Liao 等人 2002；Liao 等人 2004)。研究发现，IL-19与衰老、血管疾病、I型糖尿病和类风湿性关节炎有关。

(A) The biological activity of Mouse Recombinant IL-19 was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of MCF-7 cells. Cell proliferation was measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is less than 50 ng/mL. (B) 2 μg of Mouse Recombinant IL-19 was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Mouse Recombinant IL-19 has a predicted molecular mass of 17.7 kDa.
