MPC-11 抗体 (IgG2b, kappa) 适合在多种应用中用作同型对照抗体，以评估抗原特异性抗体的非特异性结合程度。理想情况下，同型对照应与所用特异性抗体具有相同的重链亚类（IgA、IgD、IgE、IgG 或 IgM）和轻链亚类（kappa 或 lambda）。如果使用偶联抗体，则应选择与相同分子（例如荧光染料）偶联的同型对照。使用合适的同型对照有助于确认抗原特异性抗体的特异性，并指示可能由与 Fc 受体或其他细胞成分结合引起的非特异性结合。

该抗体克隆已验证可用作同型对照抗体，用于评估流式细胞术和免疫荧光显微镜应用（表面和细胞内染色）等应用中的细胞非特异性结合。
