AD2抗体与人CD73反应，CD73是一种糖基磷脂酰肌醇（GPI）锚定的糖蛋白和表达于B细胞和T细胞、滤泡树突状细胞、间充质干细胞、内皮细胞和上皮细胞亚群表面的外泌5′-核苷酸酶。CD73催化5 ' -腺苷单磷酸（AMP）水解形成具有生物活性的核苷腺苷，并通过调节胞外腺苷浓度在P1腺苷受体的活化中起关键作用。CD73也作为T细胞的共同信号分子和介导淋巴细胞与内皮细胞和滤泡树突状细胞相互作用的粘附分子发挥作用。CD73作为淋巴细胞分化的标志物，其表达在发育过程中增加。它也是鉴别未分化间充质干细胞的有用标记物。CD73在许多类型的人类和小鼠癌症中高度表达，并与肿瘤生长的控制有关。
