白细胞介素1β (IL-1β) 是一种无活性前体蛋白或IL-1β前体。这种前体在细胞内被Caspase 1（IL-1β转化酶）裂解，形成活性蛋白，随后分泌（Allan et al.）。IL-1β与IL-1受体结合，通过MAPK或NF-kB通路激活细胞内信号传导。IL-1β由单核细胞、组织巨噬细胞和树突状细胞在感染或损伤时释放，并诱导急性期蛋白的表达。它还通过刺激内皮细胞上粘附分子的表达，促进炎症和免疫活性细胞从循环系统浸润到血管外和受影响的组织。IL-1β也影响其他免疫细胞；例如，它与抗原或丝裂原共同刺激T细胞功能。它还以IL-6依赖的方式刺激Th17分化和B细胞增殖。本产品不含动物成分。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant IL-1 beta, ACF was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of D10S cells. Cell proliferation was measured after 66 hours of culture using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is 0.87 pg/mL. (B) 1 μg of Human Recombinant IL-1 beta, ACF was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.
