肿瘤坏死因子-α（TNF-α）是一种促炎细胞因子，可激活NF-kB、MAPK和PI3K/AKT通路。激活的T细胞和巨噬细胞是炎症和感染条件下TNF-α的主要产生者。许多其他类型的细胞已被证实能产生TNF-α，其中包括B细胞、NK细胞、肥大细胞、中性粒细胞、树突状细胞、小胶质细胞、内皮细胞、平滑肌细胞、心肌细胞和成纤维细胞。TNF-α通过刺激抗肿瘤免疫抑制反应，对体外癌细胞具有细胞毒性作用。TNF-α刺激E-选择素和P-选择素的表达，从而促进中性粒细胞、单核细胞和记忆T细胞粘附到激活的血小板和内皮细胞（Zelová<e:1>和Hosek）。TNF-α的其他作用包括血管扩张和水肿形成。本产品不含动物成分。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant TNF-alpha, ACF was tested by its ability to inhibit growth of mouse L929 cells in the presence of actinomycin D. Inhibition of cell proliferation was measured after 48 hours of culture using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation inhibition is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is 0.00877 ng/mL. (B) 1 μg of Human Recombinant TNF-alpha, ACF was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.
