小鼠白细胞介素4（IL-4）ELISA试剂盒可用于定量检测和分析血清、血浆和细胞培养上清液等生物体液中的小鼠IL-4。IL-4由Th2细胞、NK细胞、γ/δ T细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞、肥大细胞和活化的嗜碱性粒细胞产生。IL-4诱导B细胞免疫球蛋白同型转换，调节naïve T细胞向Th2细胞分化，并与TNF联合将T细胞和嗜酸性粒细胞募集到炎症部位。

该检测基于夹心ELISA方法，将样本加入到预先包被有细胞因子特异性捕获抗体的ELISA条带孔板上。通过添加生物素化检测抗体以及与生物素化抗体结合的链霉亲和素-辣根过氧化物酶（SA-HRP）来检测捕获的细胞因子。然后添加显色酶底物3,3’,5,5’四甲基联苯胺（TMB）会生成有色产物，其强度与样本中细胞因子的浓度成正比。通过与平行分析的细胞因子标准品的梯度稀释液进行比较，可以确定细胞因子的浓度。
