肝素结合表皮生长因子（EGF）样生长因子（HBEGF）是EGF家族的一员（Nishi & Klagsbrun）。HBEGF促进囊胚附着于子宫壁（Iwamoto & Mekada）。它还在平滑肌细胞增生和脑损伤中发挥作用（Nishi & Klagsburn）。CD4+ T细胞产生的HBEGF通过促进角质形成细胞、成纤维细胞和平滑肌细胞的迁移和增殖来促进伤口愈合（Blotnick et al.）。它与EGFR、ErbB4、ErbB2和ErbB3结合，激活PI3K/AKT信号通路（Iwamoto & Mekada）。HBEGF在多种细胞中表达，参与多种生理和病理过程。在卵巢癌、乳腺癌、胃癌、结肠直肠癌、胰腺癌和子宫内膜癌中，HBEGF 表达上调，可能促进疾病的发生发展（Miyata et al.）。本产品不含动物成分。

(A) The biological activity of Human Recombinant HBEGF, ACF was tested by its ability to promote proliferation of BALB/c 3T3 cells. Cell proliferation was measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum. The EC50 in the example above is 0.167 ng/mL. (B) 1 μg of Human Recombinant HBEGF, ACF was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. Human Recombinant HBEGF, ACF has a predicted molecular mass of 9.9 kDa.
